I need a new set of SPD pedals. Need to fit Shimano shoes, be tough enough for downhill and reasonably cheap. Any recommendations?

M530's if you want cheap and with a bit of a platform. They are super easy to clip in to and the cage gives a bit of extra support and grip. Or if you want proper DH pedals then the m647 DX's, just got a set of these as well but I'm yet to use them. They have a bigger platform and look like they will survive big hits better plus the mechanism pivots slightly as you clip in so in theory should be easier to clip in to but as my shoes are totally soaking I'm yet to see if that is actually true.0
