Brakes - Disc to V

I'm planning on swapping my disc brakes out for V-Brakes. They're not working as intended and I'm using this bike as a cheap upgrade / tidy up / maintenance project until I buy a new one.
I think I've done my homework and I'm under the impression these will do the job but a second opinion never hurts.
This is my bike as it was stock back in 1998:

and these are the brakes I'm thinking of fitting:

Am I good to go?

If you have fittings for the brakes, and the correct surface on the rims, then they will work, but of course you will need levers and cables too.0

Ace,
Cables and levers already in the pipeline.

Are your wheels compatible? has the fork and seat stay got caliper mounts. When I did this I used my existing levers and just added Avid BB7s.Planet X Kaffenback 2
