Good morning, or good evening...

Not quite sure, still at work since I posted in yesterdays Monday thread...

Guess I'll be back in a few hours, and have a vague idea of something then. For now, just knackered and high on solvent fumes... Hope some bugger buys this bloody boat!

    Morning losers!

Had my first judo lesson last night. It was good, really good intro into it. However, when I got home, after about an hour, I noticed that my right shoulder was aching. A lot. It's not broken, not that kind of pain, but feck it's annoying. It's had me awake most the night! Need some Deep Heat or something on it. Must have pulled a muscle.

Also last night, did anyone watch the program on BBC3 about Tourrettes? If not, I HIGHLY recommend it. It had me in stitches all the way through. Maybe that's how I hurt my shoulder!

    Morning bumders

Busy day today. In a good mood though, waking up to hear Murray won will have me bouncing around all week. Couple of hours work this morning, then off to hospital :? Following this I'm buggering off down to Potters Bar for the new term hopefully, and I'll have bikes with me. Winner.

By the time I got home last night and had dinner it was time for bed so I missed all TV last night. Will have to get it on the i-player.

Another day of CBA. Torrential downpours and muppet drivers.

    Tea and cake are calling.

    Later......
  • Morning again,

Back to work, slightly lightheaded, but the kettle is on, last night's work all looks okay in the daylight, and I am now 3 days from Guinness and sleep!

    Good luck everybody...

  • Ay up Lads & Ladettes,

Packing for 2 weeks in the sun!! Fly off early this avo.

No bikes but I don't mind at the moment as I need a rest. Sunbed, bookS, beer & food - don't need anything else.

Will probably be going stir crazy and be missing exercise in a week's time but for now, bring on it.

To top it off, it's p!ssing with rain here in Manc - not sad to be leaving that behind for a while!

Y'all take care, do ya hear?

Damn, missed it as I was out last night. But it reminds me of this:

Anyhow, got a bit of admin stuff to do today then I'm off down to Bedgebury for a play on the bike in the semi-darkness. Have got a couple of vegetation-frazzling lights which should keep me on the trail. Until then coffee need drinking :)

  • morning homos.

This thread fails as a good morning thread. But as it's already here, it'll suffice for today.

With any luck my new matchmaker clamps will arrive today. So I can get back out on the bike at some point.

Actually pretty surprised at how cold it was this morning. The temperature has REALLY dropped off last night.

In other news, I've decided to stick with SRAM for a little while longer. My next priority is a road bike. That's right, I'm off to join the dark side.

Moving to Nottingham today. Whether or not it is a good move remains to be seen. Although the job/pay/hours are all good, the riding is minimal.

When I asked where there was to ride in Nottingham, someone's reply was 'Cannock.'

Don't do it. Nottingham is a horrible place. Unless you're going to a nice part, like somewhere not in Nottingham.

So it's Tuesday. I thought it was Wednesday, that explains a few things. Should've slept last night but didn't really. Today will consist of playing bikes at lunchtime, bacons followed by very little this afternoon.

    Morning Feisty Ones,

One of the benefits of working from home is I get to go out for a lunch time blast on the bike, which is exactly where I'm heading now.

So with that in mind....TTFN :)

    Evening girls,

well, after a mad day at work and even madder weather - bright sunshine one minute, heavy downpours the next... it brightened up nice so I thought i'll toddle off to Lee Quarry for a bit of a ride.
Parked up, lovley sunshine. Rode (well walked a lot) to the top of the hill. Had a run round the pump track, then the wind got up and was blowing the bike sideways, then the friggin rain started then turned to hail. This is with me just in a T shirt.
Off back down to the car and home in a sulk, I was out for 15 minutes according to strava, and bagged one of the slowest times for the descent to the carpark.
    :)
