    No.
In fact, I don't watch TV on a Saturday at all. Primarily because it is full of shows like this.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

It will be on as the missus will be watching it; me, all I say is meh.

I'll be watching Strictly Come Dancing - Victoria Pendleton is on that one.
  • With the exception of Bruce and Tess (mute for both), I quite enjoy a bit of Strictly on a Saturday night.

No, we've got rid of the TV, much to the annoyance of an 8 yo.

    Not surprised.

Discussing mutually shared experiences (which basically revolves around discussing what you watched last night) is a big part of dealing with people you don't like but have to get on with!

Were there many people you didn't like but had to get on with as an 8 yo? More of a problem for adults surely?

That's more of a ritual, with strict rules.

No-one's actually interested in your opinion and there's a hierarchy of weather that can't be challenge, save for peopel thinking you're a weirdo.

Warm sunny << the 'best' weather
    Cold Sunny
    Warm cloudy
    cold cloudy
    Warm rain
cold rain << the 'worst' weather

and then special mention to snow.

It's pretty much a constant in everyone's life. There's just more contrived ways of going about it when you get older.

I find that if I haven't seen dancing on ice then the 'what did you think of last night's dancing on ice' conversation the next day is even easier to cut short. I'll quite happily let people that I don't really want to talk to just talk at me while I'm making my morning coffee. After a little while they're pleased that they've had their say and move on. I'm not sure that my having an opinion would change the outcome

I think you will find that Walking boot is the best weather

  • I love Strictly.

I generally skip the first few episodes but once the going gets tough the level of dancing is really fantastic.

Kara and Artem's winning Rumba two years ago was some of the best television I've ever seen. The electricity between them was, well, electric.

We'll have Strictly on in our house. The missus goes the whole hog and watches the mid-week program but I'll be saving myself for the weekends. Looking at the "celebrity" list this year, there's enough eye candy in there to keep me happy.

Someone needs to have a word with Wardrobe. It would appear that the moths have got at this poor girl's dress. She'll catch her death going out on the ice in this...
