Just watching the TOB and noticed one of the liquigas riders in the breakaway on a CAAD10.
is this a bit unusual for a pro to riding aluminium?

I thought they were on Carreras.

    Probably a sponsor's request

"its so good that pros ride it when we tell them too!11!!!!"!!1!1"
  • Real world weight on the CAAD10 is only something like 300-400g higher than the Evo isn't it? Still easy to get it down to the UCI limit, and a lot cheaper to replace when you break it.

Definitely saw a Carrera Erakle in the crash. Also have seen a photo of Moreno Moser using one of his families' bikes whilst racing for Liquigas.

The Lidl stuff is good :-)
As above with the amount of crashes there have been they're probably glad they didn't bring the carbon bikes!

The guy on the Carrera is a stagiaire.

Photo's of Moser riding a Moser i would be interested to see. I would have thought he would be contracted to ride Cannondale.

  • You wouldn't take the best bike out on a piss wet jaunt along some terribly surfaced roads either
