whats size spline ! pleaseeee

hi brought a truvativ holzfeller chainset and need to find out what bottom bracket to order as my old chainset has the spline built in

my frame width is 73mm but how do i find out which length spline to buy 113mm or 118mm

Does it say on the crank? There has been more than one version. Same applies for the axle length, depends what chainline you want. Try and find out the exact model you have.

Which cranks have you actually bought? ISIS fit or Howitzer fit?

doesnt say anything on the cranks all it has it a 170 stamp on it

and it has howitzer wrtten on the crank so i guess it is howitzer not isis didnt realise they were different

oh and what do you mean by chainline as looking at howitzer bottom brackets and isnt coming up with spline length anymore is coming up with chainline thanks tony

that is how they spec it. the chainline the BB gives.
