Cheers guys... end of my 1st year of serious training/racing, so guess i'm as fit as i'm ever going to be, don't think i'll be threatening Ben Thomas - it would be nice to do <10, but i'll be happy with a finish!0

I finished....plenty of people didn't, so much for sub 10
11:20 was my time, 99th - top 100 just!
I'd like to blame the intermittent chain such and jamming up in the front mech, but the reality is that this is a tough race that you really can't afford to underestimate, I felt like binning it at 30m.
Apparently this year was one of the best, I cant imagine how bad it is on a 'bad' year, massive respect to the quick boys who did it under 8hrs, that's insane...0 -
