Hi,
Anyone doing the Gower bike ride this Sunday or done it before and can share their experience? I just registered - thought I'd give it a go.
There's a few distances to ride, up to 46 miles. I'll be giving the 46 mile route a bash, its pretty flat and should be a nice ride for me!!

I did think about doing it until I saw the route. Too many traffic lights and round abouts for my liking plus I would have liked a longer route. Saying that there will still be a good crowd doing.

Agreed that the lights and roundabouts are a hinderance.
46 miles will be good for me, only had a road bike for a few weeks so slowly upping the mileage.
I'm hoping it'll be the start of a fad that'll see me build up to do some sportives next year - any/many around s wales? I think I read about one from Margam (quite hilly)?0 -

thats far more challenging! is there a time limit on that? it may take me a couple days!! ha!0
