Hey there everybody.
Just joined up now after reading the past week. Just got back into mountain biking after 6 years out. Used to ride alot when I lived back home in Manchester and stopped after moving to north Norfolk. After putting on far too much weight for my liking I've decided to start riding again.
Bought myself a voodoo Bantu after much reading reviews and within the budget of my gf after much haggling ( I know, how lame)
Finally got out today for a ride with a mate to a local wood ( bacton woods ) thoroughly enjoyed it albeit knackering and feeling a little violated by the seat, but a great start. Love the bike, last bike was a cbr something or'other. Feels very responsive and sturdy. Will take some getting used to the hydrolic brakes and fairly decent suspension ( for me anyway )
But very happy with the bike, specially when free rolling!! Very fast haha.
Anyway after boring you all I will say hi and very happy to be riding again.
Have fun.
