As far as I can see its not in any of these http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/v/Manufacturer+Archive/Saracen/Catalogues/ from the 90's

Cant see much else about it anywhere. Must be early 90's though I'd guess.

its old - not as old as the hills but old :-) but does it work? if so dont worry about it!
