only ever used amazon uk - does the US site ship to the UK? will there be import taxes as its not the EU?

Yes they do. You might get charged taxes, you might not if you're lucky.

www.all4cycling.com are based in Italy so no duties of tax - I order my Castelli stuff from Italy rather than pay rip-off UK prices for a limited range of sizes and colours.
