I have just put my 9 speed XTR chainset on my blur LT, I am also running a 10 speed dyna sys front mech and 10 speed dyna sys SLX shifter. I am having a mare of a time setting it all up together.
What do I do??? do I have to swap the shifter and mech out for 9 speed stuff??

so did it work before you fitted the crankset?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

so it sounds like the crankset has been incorrectly fitted.
how many spacers? what is the BB width?
you have pushed the axle through fully?."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

the crankset is pushed through properly. I have put one spacer on the driveside and none on the non drive side (I did check this with my local santa cruz stockist) The bb width is 73mmYeti SB66c 20130

sorry misread your reply, read it as one on the drive and one on the non drive.

ok so as the rings are bigger you have moved the mech up and reset the cable?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I have managed to get it shifting sweet enough now but its catching the insine of the mech steel cage badly in the lower ratio gears when in the middle ring and on the bottom of the steel cage when in the higher ratio gears in the lower ring.Yeti SB66c 20130

Take picture with phone, upload picture to photobucket / imageshack / instagram or which ever you have, copy IMG info into reply and Bingo, pictures here! Or copy the direct link info! (If on a camera, send from computer to same!)
Sounds like its catching on the exyremeties of the gears, have you tried it under load?? Friend recently had similar on trek, in the stand it caught, under load was fine,??Timmo.
