Right, I'm probably being stupid but after some help.
If I was to purchase http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=496 for my Kraken, with the view to upgrading to a full sus when funds allow, what adaptors and skewers would I need? I know I would need a 10mm or QR adaptor for the rear as they would be the only ones that would fit, but what about the front? The bike currently has Suntour XCR forks on it, but I will be looking to upgrade these to Revelations or something similar that can be swapped to the full sus when appropriate.

Hmm link works for me, does this one work?

if not, its the Stan crest rims with Evo hubs that are £200.0 -
QR or 9mm for the front. 9mm would require a 9mm qr though, which is as thick as you can fit in a regular qr fork. It'll stiffen up the fork a little, but you might not notice.

If you change forks in future, just buy some appropriate adaptors.0 -

And just to confirm before I buy as mate as put doubt in my mind now: they can be run tubeless or normally can't they?0 -
Stans rims? Yeah, you just need a conversion kit to run tubeless.0

Well I ordered the above wheels but just suddenly thought, will everything like the cassette brakes etc all be a straight swap over or will I need to get anything else in order to fit them? I've got some rim tape already as I've heard the superstar stuff isn't great.0

As long as your brake discs are 6 bolt, you'll be fine to swap over.A Flock of Birds

the wheels will come with rim tape on them and if's the Superstar stuff the best place for it is in the bin"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

I've been hammering the superstar hubs on Stans all year on my hardtail and am pretty impressed, it has to be said,.
For Tubeless set up:
You need the stans 21mm yellow tape (remove the superstar rim tape) and a couple of stans valves...and a bottle of stans wheelmilk.
Word of warning - only use Tubeless Ready Tyres for best results. Standard Tyres are a bit hit and miss to say the least (although people will have recommendations as to what works well, i am sure)....and avoid full on UST tyres because they are an absolute MUNT to fit. (too tight)0
