I am currently deliberating which chainset to run on my bike I have 2 at the moment to choose from (will sell the one I dont use) or I could sell them both and go for a brand spanker.

Currently I am running a 3x10 dyna sys drivetrain but am planning on upgrading bothe shifters and front mech, so could easily go to 2x10 if I wanted.

The chainset I have on the bike currently is a Shimano SLX M660 10 speed triple

I also have a Shimano XTR FC-M970 Triple sat in the shed but will this work with 10 speed?

I have been considering selling both and going for either a XT M785 double or a Raceface Turbine double

What would you do in my situation?????

Use the XTR M970, most people have had no problems using 9sp setups with 10sp rear, you've already got it so 20 mins to fit and find out, no brainer!
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
