Completed 3 loops of boxhill today, and a unexpected detour to Epsom downs. (i got lost)
pretty chuffed with it. Riding on the same roads as the greats, seeing all they names and drawings on the road was pretty awesome. However it was as hard as i was expecting it to be, either that or i am slowly getting better at climbing
either way enjoyed it very much

I've done it on two separate trips, once before the Olympic Road Race and once after. I was seriously bricking it the first time as I'm no mountain goat. But got up no problem, the second time I gave it full beans.
Its got this misconception of being steep and i've heard people compare it to Alpe D'Huez, well it has got a couple of hairpins..... I just think its a nice, mildly challenging hill, with a pukka road surface.
EDIT: Well done by the way!Trek 1.1c (2012) - For commuting
Trek Madone 5.5c (2010) - For pleasure http://i1151.photobucket.com/albums/o62 ... G_0413.jpg0 -
