the dual air took a bit of a bashing in the BR reviewYeti SB66c 20130
-
I prefer it, more tunable.0

Yep, they have put a lighter, less progressive solo air unit in there.0

I think it is an even split. Has been a bit of a backlash in the US and some of the websites such as MTBR. I think it is a backwards step too, and no many others that think the same. It seems that many fork manufacturers want an easier to set up system so we get stuff like Fox CTD, RS RTC3 - and people are already complaining about CTD!0

All we need is high and low speed compression and rebound adjustment. The rest is all just jazzy tarty marketing nonsense terms.0 -

Couldn't be bothered to type it all......
I could afford an expensive bike, I just can't justify it (to myself), although I have just splashed out on some 'new to me' Shimano brake bits (XT, saint, XTR combo) taking my total spend on the MTB to worryingly near to £600.....I'll just have to sell some stuff!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

I think that was Dual Position not Dual Air. The first one allows travel change at the flick of a switch the second allows tuning of air spring.
I prefer the dual air concept as said it allows you more options to tune the fork. If you don't want to use it just keep +ve and -ve springs the same.0
