IS anyone apart from me going to watch tomorrow?
I've never seen a Vuelta last day, and I can't follow these guys for three weeks and abandon them at the end.
They'd call me a part-timer.0 -
Of course I'm watching tomorrow's stage - but will have to have ToB on the go at the same time.0

Vuelta last stage, Tour of Britain, and GP de Montreal. It's the greatest cycling day of the year.0

Total exhaustion for a lot of those riders today. Loved it, it takes monumental efforts to make gains in these sorts of races these days. Great sporting effort, that's how it should be.0

To be fair, while Froome was coming second in the Tour, Contador was enjoying an 18-30 rep in Salou and calling it "training"
N.B. This may be a lie0 -

JRod the strongest overall, but Contador was persistent and prepared to take greater risks.
He was within 1km of losing Stage 17.
Today, he may well have been within 1km of losing the Vuelta.

Enjoyed that.
Had a good snooze and woke up for the final climb.

And your point is? Hardly surprising, it's practically impossible to peak for two GTs in less than three months. I don't think most sensible commentators was expecting him to win. The guy in second Valverde finished close on 40mins behind Froome in the Tour, and even the Steakman couldn't manage the Giro & Tour last year.0
