  • That is sweet mate. Did you get it on the offer price when it was sub £1600?

This has got to be the best value bike out there at the moment.I'd love one in the charcoal/black colour. Any rides yet?
Current bike: 2014 Kinesis Racelight T2 - built by my good self!

Cheers! Yeah got it when it was £1,599 so a fantastic deal i think. I was going to go for the Black version but i've already got a matte black bike (BTC) and it's a bastard to clean

Yeah three rides so far, none over 20km but very impressed so far. Much more comfortable than my carbon bike in no small part to the VCLS post i think.
  • Yeah cycling plus raved about that, looks like a good piece of technology. If I had 1600 notes I'd be spooging it on one of them no probs...

It is very nice. Really dampens bumps of which my area has plenty.

    Liking that very very much.
  • How tall are you?

I may have settled on one of these (when I have the money) but would defo be going for matt black.

Great looking bike! It's nice to see one in something other than matt black for a change ;)

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.

haha...my matt back version of this bike arrived a couple of weeks back and I am loving it...although I have already swapped out the stock selle italia saddle for the trusty and cheap charge spoon (probably a trade down in spec but a definite trade up in comfort)...the selle saddle just didn't agree with my rear end at all...

I like it. A pair of good bib shorts help though ;)
  • ive been using bib shorts...i think its just a personal thing as it has a fairly flat profile whereas the the spoon has a lot more hollow through the middle and dip at the nose, that obviously suits my a$$ more...

Yeah i know. Indeed saddle's are very personal things, one man's idea of heaven will inevitably be another man's hell. I like the saddle that came stock, it's far nicer than the Fizik Arione i had previously. The seat post makes a massive help to dampening bumps too.
  • So tempted by one of these. Not sure I could wait for the delivery though. Must be agony. When I part with that sort of cash, I'll be wanting to ride straight away.

Does indeed. Mine is filthy at the moment, but no point cleaning it as it just gets dirty again the next day :P I might update the pics, as i have new bar tape and a new seat post.

I did. Because it was a set-back post, and my riding position was doing bad things for my knee. It's improved a lot with a straight post. It's definitely not as forgiving on the arse as the VCLS one, though.
