Cleat Advice

Hi All,
I recently purchased a used Trek which came with the Keo Look pedals. I am now on the look out for some Cleats prior to purchasing my first pair of cycling shoes, but I have one question.
The Keo Look Cleats I have seen advertised for sale some of them state " 0º of float" and others "4.5º degrees of movement"? Can someone please explain what this means?
If it is of any help, I am a newbie and about to ride my first Road Bike.

0 means you food won't move at all where as a 4.5 which means you can move it slightly side to side. I started of with floating (4.5) as you get used to Clipless pedals now after a few years I have non floating cleats (0) they are usually colour coded in red or yellow0

Float refers to the amount of lateral play that is present. Basically a small degree of float allows your knees to rotate outwards/inwards slightly which may be better for some people as it can reduce the risk of knee injury...0
