Garmin Edge 800 temperature stats

Hi,
I have probably what is an end user issue, but it's bugging me big time.
When I look on garmin connect of other Edge 800 users (and the earlier Edges) I see the temperature log on the left hand side of their workout, along with the other stats.
However, for my profile on garmin connect, I never see the temperature stats.
I've configured my edge to display the temperature on one of the pages, but still nothing in my garmin connect account.
Any ideas ?
Rob

Can anyone help answer this one0 -
can you see the word temperature mentioned at all on the activity page on connect? if you can see that and it has an arrow > pointing that way then click the arrow and it will then show the temperature stats0

Hi Omar,
Thanks for the hint. But no I don't see temperature where the other stats like timing, elevation, heart rate, and cadence are located. What's extra strange is on one of the pages of my Edge 800, the temperature is displayed, so surely it's being logged ?
Any ideas ?

Here's my activity from today http://connect.garmin.com/activity/220104283
As you can see, there's no temperature like there is with yours
I'm wondering, maybe it's because I've got my Edge 800 to log data every second rather than "smart" logging. Smart logging is the default setting, so I'll give that a whirl and see if that makes any difference, then report back here.0 -
Update your firmware to 2.40 then try again.bobbywise wrote:I'm wondering, maybe it's because I've got my Edge 800 to log data every second rather than "smart" logging. Smart logging is the default setting, so I'll give that a whirl and see if that makes any difference, then report back here.
I've got mine set for 1 second recording too. Try Data Averaging as 'Do not Include Zeros'I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
Ok, I realized how to get the temperature data on garmin connect
If you send to garmin connect from the training center, it does NOT upload the temperature data.
If you send to garmin connect directly via garmin communicator on the garmin connect website, it does upload the temperature data.
In the past I had always sent to garmin connect from the training center !!!0 -
Phew - simple solutions are the best !All the gear, but no idea...0
