Although do i just buy the
Alpine 160 that i have wanted since they came out??

    The Scalp is EPIC, amazing bike for the money. The Mega uses the same suspension design in a slightly different layout. Value for money isn't quite as good for 2013, I would get a 2012 bike while they are still available.

    You can pick up a 2012 Mega frame for about £600! Or get fully built bike for less the £1,600 from CRC - amazing prices really

    I'm very keen on an AM Comp (I'd like the Pro but with a dual ring really but price is high) don't know how long the 2012's will be available at good prices for but I'd take one (give me couple of months to get the cash sorted).

    I do like the look of the Mega TR for next year - wondering if it will fit the bill for a trail and bike park ride as much as the AM though.
