Rigid forks on Kona Explosif

I want to put a rigid fork on my 2003 Kona Explosif. I quite like the look of the Salsa Cromoto, but I'm unsure which length to get for this geometry, does anyone know which length (425 or 445 mm) is it meant to be or are there any better alternatives under £100 about? I'm running discs and going to race xc on it.

Either would work fine, the 425 giving you a steeper, more responsive head angle.
The cl;classic Kona P2 is a good choice if you can find one.
Or Exotic Carbon. Do you run V or disc brakes?0 -
As above really - if you want steel then DMR might be worth a look. For carbon - Exotic.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0

Discs, I've got my eye on some Bontrager carbons, 445mm which should be nice and light.0

Not bad if brand new, but they are the same as these:

No, quite different. I plumped for On One cromo rigids in the end, the colour matches well and they're about the same length as my 80mm SIDs which still might find their way back on for the odd race. They steer really well and have loads of mud clearance, not bad for £59.99 posted. Certainly made Sarn Helen interesting yesterday!0
