What have I done with my top cap

I have specialized carbon 2 forks with a carbon deda top cap. When I try and unscrew the Allen bolt it just turs but doesn't loosen. I believe that the flyover shape nut in the inside it nt gripping and is just spinning. Is there anything I can do?

What happens when you loosen the stem bolts as well?Faster than a tent.......0

id say you need to get the star nut to grip somehow,,
only way i can think would be to loosen stem,
lift bike up
get someone to pull forks down as you try to undo the headcap bolt.

I may give that ago because it sounds like it may work. It it does what will I need to do to fix it? Could I just puts the star nut further in?0

yea pushing it further down will give it fresh surface to grip to..

stick something up from the bottom and give it a clout, that will help it to grip and undo0
