Hi, my mates offered me some bike bits and wondered if you could value them or if I should buy them? This is what he listed the parts as:
On blue bike at moment identiti frame dmr dv 26 inch wheels with halo tyres spank bars kona stem fsa headset felt seat , separate to that for 2 pairs of cranks gusset ones dmr v8 pedals éclat seat loads of hudoralic brakes set of zac 79 24 wheels kona shred 08 frame another set of cranks mtb ones 24/7 sprocket maxxis high roller tyre
And bomber forks

There's nothing to understand. Your mate has listed some random stuff with no idea of the details or of the condition any of it is in. Is it "loads of hudralic" XTR disc brakes or no name cable sh*t? Is it a 1997 Bomber or a 2012 Bomber?0 -

Could your 'mate' learn to spread bits out and focus the camera on the bits not something else, can't even read the logo's on most the stuff, however the cranks are worth about a tenner, the brakes not sure as don't know what they are, saddles usually worth nothing unless branded and other bits a quid or so each. Frame looks Ok as does the bike, why not search ebay (advanced search, click completed listings box) to get an idea of values.

Cheers, I know he's done a terrible job photographing and listing the parts but I only asked for some pictures to have a rough guess at the price. If I were to leave the parts and buy the Kona Shred frame, Identiti Dr Jekyll and a spare set of marzocchi forks what would be a good price? He said for just the bike he wanted £120.
