I am small, medium, large and XL to various brands! Very annoying.

Can anyone recommend good bib shorts? Reasonable price, less than £100

  • Weight, height and waist?

I use DHB Aeron Pros and Endura FS-260 Pro shorts. Both are great for the money -> a little over £60 I think

Cheers, I keep reading bad reviews on shorts saying they fall to pieces after a few hundred miles or the fabric wears thin and puts your crack on display for all to admire.
  • I can second DHB Aeron Pros - believe they are reduced at the moment as well - certainly sub £60 with free delivery.

I've had mine for over 1000 miles and are still in almost perfect order. Have done 100 mile rides in them with no chaffing.

    I'm 6'3" 85kg and take a Large

Can't say I've been impressed with DHB's offerings, but I can heartily recommend the FS-260's (M) - slightly thicker material and a good pad, if a little bulky and shifted backwards (oh wait, I've just described myself..... )
Also Northwave Blades (M) - have ridden thousands of comfortable miles on both with not a thin patch in sight.

Some of the team kit is OK - I have Liquigas Nalini shorts from 2010 (if you normally take an M, buy size 5 - XXL) which have a fantastic, almost chamois-like, erm, chamois - though I have to say the 2011 Lampre pair I bought had a much thinner cheaper pad. The only thing with these is the thin material - not sure they's last a long time.

Currently trying some Louis Garneau (M) from Evans - seem OK, if a little lightweight.

    I'm 75kg, 5'9" with a 32 waist.

Thanks for the input, there was size/colour issues so I ended up going with something Italian for now. In Italy I'm huge!

I wanted something with white straps as I'm getting a white jersey too for an epic climb in Tenerife in 3 weeks, the idea being that the white will reflect the sun light and keep me a bit cooler....that's the idea.

I found with castellis you have to go 2 sizes up.

37 inch waist at the moment although my jeans etc are all 34's. 5'11 and 14.5 stone/203lbs/92kg. Ordered Castellis in XL, Hopefully they'll fit OK!

EDIT - Arrived and fit good.
