The news that he want to attempt the record in Britain is disappointing news: Battle Mountain is chosen because it's fast. The altitude is worth about 6km/h over 100m above sea level....

The image you posted looks like a Velokraft VK2 with a shell, which is hardly ideal.....
OK, I'm way OT, but the pic above doesn't look all that much more aero then the current 24hr record holder (which is 1233km/766.1 miles) (pic is of my VM in shop, a Milan GT, rather than an SL)
