Mehning Losers!

Terrible nights sleep here. During the evening I think I had an allergic reaction to something, as I couldn't stop scratching my hands. Then it turned to my torso as well. I took my tshirt off and it began to get better, but my hands needed steroid cream before they calmed down. They're a little tender today.

After work today, I'm off to visit a friend in the pub (woo) and then he's cooking me and his girlfriend a meal, so that'll be nice.

My housemate has just got up, and is now going to ruin my morning by talking to me. Grr

Laters!

    Morning bumders

Another day of work for me! Should be fun, standing in front of the scanner all day... also need to chase up a new appointment and fix some bike bits on the birthday bike.

    Morning girls,
@mule, sounds like you need a new patio, Jordashe style..
Work again today, which will consist of countless crap all day long. Recently lost 2 people out of a 4 man team and the workload has nearly doubled (irrelevamt of the loss) and no one is being replaced. All we get is "there's more than 8hrs in a day"
Needless to say, come home time I'm straight out the door.

Anyways, must finish dropping the kids off, then porridge! All this slow release carb sh1t does actually work, I'm normally chewing at my fingers come 10 past 8, but porridge let's me make it through till my minty lamb pie at 10 :)

    Be good.

that happened to me a few years back, we went from having 6 people to 2 people to do our jobs...it sucked and they ended up spending the same amount of money as we claimed over 100hrs of overtime a month each. hence why i've now moved jobs though

nice day today, i've got not much to do today so i'm looking forward to finishing at 3 and picking my lad up to go playing 8)

You'll end up with ripped knuckles but a really small finger if you keep that up.

Busy day in work today but tonight is out with friends for pizza and yatter. Nice.
The ride in today was crisp and clear - a good riding morning. I could have pedelled past work and kept going. Most of the traffic lights were in my favour too. Today I am charmed.

Tomorrow is my Friday and then I'm hols for a week. Three days in Radnor helping run a rally, then down to Newport for a week setting up WRGB at Celtic Manor. Apart from Thursday. Thursday I shall be bashing the trails at Cwmcarn - well, whilst I'm down that way it seems rude not to. Welcome to join me.

Onwards! To coffee! And possibley a second one, to keep the first company!

  • Another day of nothing special. Gym session last night went OK with no aches and pains this morning so I must be getting fitter after all.

OCD minion is back and annoying as ever but as it is Wednesday I only have another couple of days to tolerate.

More phone upgrade research needed today but in the meantime, onwards to tea. Lots of tea.

    Later......
  • today should be good, location manager is in today, and he'll bring something like krispy kremes.

gotta trial some new jobs and give feedback, due to a restructure. evening time will be spent watching catchup, have about 40 programmes to get through.

  • Morning homos!

Busy busy busy today. It's the kids first day back at school. This will be the first year where we get rid of both little one and big one for the full school day.

Got loads to do today. We're in the middle of usual 2013 forecasting, but we've got the re-launch of "the other company" to think about now too, which is taking up far more time than it really should.

Still, we've got a finance offsite tomorrow. We go and spend a day doing good deeds in the community. Tomorrow we're cleaning a beach. Meh, at least the weather is nice, we get fed, then there is an open bar at the end of it. Could be worse.

My CRC "Race faster" pack arrived yesterday. Packed full of energy supplements for the End2end on sunday. Just working out which bits to take and when.

Oh, and our new boiler is getting fitted today too, so I had to have a cold shower this morning. meeeeehhhhhhh.

    Laters douches.

  • Morning folks,

Not to be harsh, but always good to hear everyone else has a sh*tload of work to do too, makes me feel better when I read this...

We are taking a new boat to the Southampton Boat Show next thursday, and there is a huge amount to get done, been on 11-14 hour days for the last few weeks, and weekends ain't happening. The main problem is containing the whole brown trouser panic behind a confident and relaxed face... I have borrowed a *lot* of money to get this going, and this will be the first heads up on how clever/stupid I have been!

Still, I then get 10 days at the show where I can...

Fantasy land: Relax with a fresh coffee, talk to friendly people all day, eye up the passing loveliness and sell loads of boats...

Reality land: Huddle in the rain, permanently accosted by people who have no interest at all in buying what I am selling, but would prefer to tell me why I have done it wrong. All of them ugly.

With a bit of luck it will be somewhere in the middle...

But for now, sunny day, spending lots of (other people's) money, just about to launch our website and I love my job.

The tea has clearly kicked in!

Have a good day folks :D

    Morning Gimboids,

Unlike Mule, I seem to be getting some half decent sleep these days and feel much better for it. Kid has been dispatched to school so there is peace in the house for the first time in 6 weeks :) . I'm off up into London in an hour or so to do a bit of consulting work for a mate who has his own business - shock of working might kill me...

It may only be Wednesday but today is my Friday :D as I have my mates wedding tomorrow wich will involve seeing a lot of the guys I grew up with and haven't seen in a while.
As for the rest of today I think it will involve coffee, bacons and as little work as I can possibly get away with.

Been a bit busy last couple of days, seem to be returning to my former lurking status.

2 people on holiday so I'm holding the fort for them, as well as doing my own work. This pleases me as it means the AOC can't give me stuff that I have no interest in doing.

Gash update: scab on the bridge of my nose came off last night, got a lovely scar. Part of the scab on my chin has come off, turns out I've lost feeling in the skin there...

TFN is off to pick up some new handlebars for me tonight - Funn Fatboy. Not riding this weekend as I'm waiting till the healing is finished, hoping the weather behaves so I can go to Pines next week and do a lap as part of my softly-softly return to biking.

I thought it might have changed hands when it went past me in my street then again when I was up Castel Coch.

    Morning Scuttlers

Early start today but done at one. Don't plan on doing much later though, been having seriously bad sleep since returning from my break.

Coffee is now being consumed and I shall be trawling twitter for pictures of foxc's gash that she claims is healing
over. I'm not sure this should happen, I mean I'm not a doctor but I'll have a bloody good to make sure ;)

    Morning Cruddie Monkies.
Last night wasnt actual sleep, more like a small dose of death, Excellent ride was had with Excellent people and it has made the world a better place. I challenge anyone not to enjoy night riding in a muddy forrest with plenty of off's and plenty of speed!

Today's work has pretty much been completed so another day of looking busy while looking at bikes, i'm pretty sure its going to be a Canyon Nerve 9 point something but could change.
Holiday hunting is again on the cards as half term is only next month and its the only week this year that wifey and I are off at the same time!
