Hi guys.. So i've finally got myself a bike, and very nice it is too!

Obviously with anything of cost you want to make sure its insured - well at least i do, can anyone tell me who they insure their bikes with, whats the costs etc etc?

Thanks,

I just got mine insured through British Cycling. Got a discount as a silver member and insurance ran me 200 a year. Cheapest I could find for the price of bike (2800 as it goes on SRP and not price actually paid) and the cover I needed (race).

Like I said, depends on several factors. If you don't need race cover and your bike is cheaper then it's much less. Had I been able to insure my bike at what I'd paid for it as opposed to RRP then I would have saved 60 quid a year.
