Ok, never done a flyover, so commuting to work this morning, and theres a flyover, i can see from 1/2 a mile off theres cyclists going over it, theres me thinking no way, not yet, as i get closer, theres me speeding up and saying sod it
I went for it, pedalled as fast as i could on a gear i been cycling for the past 10 minutes, went half way up and boy was the rest of it tough, dropped a gear, went another 1/4, dropped another gear and woah, over the hump
for the next mile i was so knackered, it reduced my pedal speed for the rest of the journey
going to take that on the way back home, cant wait

Power-climbing flyovers is a lot of fun. It's all about getting out of the saddle and keeping at least the same speed as on the flat.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

It was fun, my legs are dead right now lol
A lot of cyclists over took me and the rate they were going will take some time to get up to myself
No pain no gain0 -
If only it was so easy !!
I have just over 500' of climbing in 10 miles each way ... ok - it's not hard, but I don't have the choice of a flat route - and the return route includes a 9% gradient ...
Still - all good practice ... and I've started doing an extra hill at the end of the return - its a cat4 climb ... I can miss it out though, so it depends how I feel0 -
Sorry but what is a flyover?0
