Inner tube choice - larger or smaller?

Apologies if the answer is on the forum but I couldn't find it.
I have replaced chunky 26x2.1 MTB tyres with 26x1.75 conti Travel Contact as rolling resistance was very high and 75% riding is road anyway. (60psi seems to be the recommended pressure.)
What is the best inner tube option? For example Conti MTB is available as 26 x 1.75-2.5 and Conti Tour is 1.5-1.75. Do I go larger or smaller, road or MTB?
Many thanks

Fat ones if you want less punctures or skinny ones if you want to save weight
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Folks - I've opted for Halfords Schrader Bike Inner Tube - 26" x 1.5" -2.1" . Sound about right for hybrid use?

And yes, cheap as Halfords currently have 3 for 2 deal on all bike stuff.
