Hi Guys,
Just wondering what your opinions on the bikes in the subject are? I had placed an order for a Saracen Mantra after reading the "Best bikes under £500 article on the main site." But i was told today the bike has been discontinued and they can no longer honour the order. I initially ordered the Saracen because it was available on finance making it more manageable for myself.
I can just about stretch my budget to £400 and pay cash and these two bikes seem to be the best for that sort of money (please correct me if the last statement is a load of tosh.)
I am also aware that the Hoodoo and Rock Rider 8.1 are better options but it will take me another 2 months to save for that and i don't want to give the other half an excuse to spend my already hard saved £400.
If there are better bikes for this price could you please send links.

Both are very good bikes for the money - the Bantu gets a better fork though. See what fits best.0
