Taking bicycle to London on train?

    Right, so I've worked out I can get my train TO London as far as Canning Town, I'd just walk to rest of the way, but getting back.

    Has anyone cyclist on here booked a reservation for a bicycle on First Hull Trains when using an OFF-PEAK ticket? I've got an open return, so wondering if I could ring still and book a reservation? I don't know how big the space for em is on those First Hull Trains.

    I notice on the tube I'd probably have to wait until there is a quieter train, sometimes their rammed, but I noticed a cyclist on the other day, but in the door way.

    How do they get out of the tube station though? Just carry the bike up the stairs?
