the saddle bag strap around the stanchion on your dropper post is a very silly idea, if any dirt gets between the strap and shaft it will scratch very quickly and destroy your post, even just the strap will cause damage.Viner Salviati

True, unfortunately as I hate to wear any backpack's and stuffing my pockets with junk, this is the only place that I can store some tools, as for scratches i don't drop the seat post all the way down so even if it get damaged it will be over the hight that I use, as for the lights and bell, I live in London so it is a must.Ladies and Gentlemen please take my advice,

Well if you arent using that bit of travel around the saddle bag I would apply a layer of heli-tape to the upper inch or so to give it protection from the bag strap - at least you are protecting it either for resale or future changes to useage.
I rode in London for years dont need a bell, just lock the rear wheel to warn people you are coming!Closet jockey wheel pimp whore.0 -
Agreed, put some tape under the saddle bag strap......even insulating tape!
What rear mech is that?Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

This is Sunrace RDMX-7, costs about the same as LX, but in my opinion is a bit better and i look's great. Since my last visit i added some reflective tape around wheels and on the spokes. During the day it is almost invisible on the bike, at night it helps me be more visible.

That is stunning! Kona have been making some great bikes that last few years.
How does it ride? It looks plush!

Crankset and it must have prostrate cancer as it has a tumer on it's arsenal!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Those fork/shock protectors aren't as good an idea as they seem. If mud gets behind them, it ends up stuck and will just score the stanchions.0

Uuu nice response I'd expect maybe one or two replays, all the differences where spotted correctly including the leaves . The one I was after was the cranks an chain-rings. Well done Jimbean1912, as a reward fell free to buy yourself a pint . I swapped Truvativ Stylo Pro 2006 on Truvativ Stylo 2012. I the meantime Santa brought goodies (he was late fat ba....d) Avid Code R
As for the shock protectors i have them on my R7 for 2 years with no problems, now on both foxes over a year also no problem, as for dirt getting behind them, in my opinion its less damaging than leaving them open for dirt and mud.Ladies and Gentlemen please take my advice,

Spring is here . I decided to add some color to the bike, so i had a go with an airbrush.

Evolution continues, I switched my trusty Hayes 9 to Avid Elixir 5 at the back, removed all the winter protection:
