Hi all. Back on the road after an op and decided that my helmet is due for replacement. I know it's down to personal choice but have narrowed it down to these two. a Giro Aeon or a Kask Vertigo? There fairly the same standard/spec and price. I've a small 52 head but had a Giro for a while now so used to having a mushroom head with helmets over the years. Just wondered if any forum member have any of the above or any recommendations. Thanks

I didn't like the fit or the look of the Aeon. Light though.

kask. Kask. KASK! It banishes the mushroom immediately.

Have you tried them both on? If so and they both fit then get the one YOU think looks best. If you haven't tried them both on then go try them both on....
    More problems but still living....
  • No stockest local and have car problems so having a try of one not possible so that's why I asked of people's views. Just as a guide and know things like helmets are a personal choice

Why the Vertigo - the Mojito is smaller (ie less mushroomy), quite a lot lighter and much cheaper.
    Faster than a tent.......

    +1
I ride a bike. Doesn't make me green or a tree hugger. I drive a car too.
  • Hmm. Interesting. Will give that some thought. Some £60 cheaper too :D
  • The Mojito is brilliant. Sadly I couldn't get one through my insurance replacement when a car hit me, they only stocked the K10 (which is also brilliant but not quite as compact).
