Bike Horn

Do any of you guys n girls use a bike horn.. One of the lads at work has one of those air zound ones and takes great delight in using it, mainly to scare me when we join up rides on a morning but he reckons its saved his skin a couple of times - any views on them or any recommendations?

I've mainly relied on shouting to get people's attention..

  • I used to yell, but I got bored of shouting at pedestrians and their dogs and now mainly ride on roads.
I used to just ride my bike to work but now I find myself going out looking for bigger and bigger hills.

I think horns of any kind are pointless when cycling, by the time you can sound it the incident is over one way or the other.
