Hi,

After running for years, i'm getting bored of running the same routes all of the time.
So I've decided to get myself a bike to spur me on abit and give me something else to keep fit with.

Done a few 21 mile routes in about 1:30mins now, so it gives me pleanty to improve on! lol

After alot of research and in the end an ''ah f*** it, this one will do'' decision, I bought myself a 2012 Specialized Allez sport comp like the one below.

You were lucky to get a 2012 Allez, they've been sort out for over a month in most places. Great bike to start with and worthy of upgrades in the future.

thanks, trying not to think about upgrades at the moment as i'm a complete sucker for shiney new upgrades! lol

already thinking how 105's or ultegra setups would improve the bike! lol

but i'm hell bent on keeping it standard for now! ish...

Don't worry about upgrades (yet) there's plenty of clothing, computers, helmets, lights, shoes, pedals, nutrition and other goodies just waiting for your cash before you think about upgrading the bike.

Just don't expect to be solvent ever again.
