  • bit of a difference in bikes!!! ;-)

good mate has one, serviced it for him last week, lovely bikes, great to ride, weve changed the bars on his for slightly wider and the tyres have been swapped for rubber queens as he had no confidence in the mountain kings,
couple of things i noticed when servicing it, cable rub on the fork crown under top tube, and also on bb area, worth checking and taping!! also popped a bit of taube between the rear brake hose and frame by the caliper as is close to it and causing some rub! also his lower pivot bolt worked loose, (17mm spanner and allen key in the middle to tighten,)
    othwerwise, Lovely bike!!!

You know your stuff! you hit the nail on the head with the rub areas and they were sorted after first ride. Yes big change from the cube, its my mates fault lol he swapped from a boardman ht to a ghost fs and he was instantly quicker on the trails when we were at llandegla and coed y brenin. i actualy fancied the trek remedy 8 but treks are store collect only and the nearest one was 100 miles away.

Lovely bike! Great colour scheme too, I sincerely hope it's a little dirtier than that now (and perhaps cleaned again given it's new)
