Ladies, gents, about 900 quid to spend and looking for a 29er hardtail. Any ideas. Have had a look at a Trek Cobia which, in red and white, is pretty (in my eyes). Anyone got one, anyone got any other idead. Please don't say "well if you can stretch to......" cos the long haired bank manager won't let me stretch any futher. Apparently my shed has got enough bikes in it.
Cheers

You'd get a better specced 26" bike for that money, are you set on getting a 29er?0

Spec wise, I'd rather have the 26er! (I'm not saying its a bad buy, just that you pay more for a 29er)0 -
How about this to keep the bank manager happy http://www.radon-bikes.de/xist4c/web/ZR ... 20563_.htm
The 6.0 is affordable too.A Flock of Birds

Those radon bikes are very good value. I tried the focus before buying and liked it and didn't want a 26er so bought it and have been very happy with it. Prefer it over 26er hard tails I've had in the past.
Standard advice from here to anyone buying a bike is as follows:
- try before you buy
- wheel size is a personal preference
- buy a Rockrider0 -
