K-edge bar mount for garmin edge - shaving your edge!

As rare as hen's teeth currently as out of stock in most places.

Does anyone have one of these?

I like the look of the k-edge alu one over the plastic ones but have read stories of how the aluminium is a little rough where the garmin fits and it actually shaves some of the plastic off the garmin base.

Anyone had that problem?

I have both the K-Edge and the BarFly, both are excellent. The K-Edge is a VERY snug fit, but it has not shaved my 500. I would buy either again in a heartbeat, but would possibly plump for the K-Edge due to the lifetime warranty.
