Replace warped disc rotors

Morning!
Its my birthday so i figured I'd treat myself and replace the disc rotors on my voodoo hoodoo which warped pretty much as soon as i bought the bike :roll:
3 questions
1. are these any good?

2. Could I / Is it worth changing from the standard 180/160 sizes?
3. Why did they warp? can it be avoided? (other than the obvious knocks etc)
