Mallorca Road Cycling advice, please?

Hello. I'm planning a road cycling trip on Mallorca for about 5 days and have scoured through a number of maps and forum posts, but just wondered if anyone here has any advice from experience? In particular, is it relatively hassle-free to arrange in advance good road bike hire there, rather than take my own? And is it viable to stay in one hotel in Puerto Pollensa and each day to do a different ride (with some variety in hill gradients etc.?) I'm mainly concerned about whether I can ride without having to carry stuff with me, and also about the fact that I'd like to do a fair bit more than just a couple of hours' riding per day, since I'll be by myself and have little else to do!

Any advice would be very welcome!

Thanks.

    Yes and Yes!
We use these guys to hire in advance:
    http://www.procyclehire.com/
but also know people who use these:
    www.2goCycling.com
PP is a great base for 5 days cycling and easy to mix flat and/or mountains.

Thanks very much, Solis. I'll make sure I use one of these cycle hire places. It's also a comfort to know where to begin with route planning! Thanks.
