Hi.
Is there a one-stop recumbent forum?
I'd be keen to try one as my leg injury may preclude me from normal bikes, but it might, jus might be OK with a recumbent.
I'd be keen to try on and I'm based in N Herts.
Thanks

  • I've got a Dr who won't answer letters, NHS surgeons who can't deal with any questioning of the MRI's (one went and got a colleague to deal with me), a 2nd hospital who did a 2nd MRI and then won't show me the full gamut of scans and a suspected torn lat' quad that in two years has shown no signs of healing.

I need a work-around-solution and quickly as my patience is wearing bl££dy thin.

There used to be a 'special interests' part of this forum, but it appears to have vanished. The commuting forum may be of help, there are a few in there who ride them.

  • You could try the CTC forum. They have a section on Non-standard, Human Powered Vehicles.
  • Thanks, the CTC forum looks good.

... dunno the availability of different types outside of the US, but they do offer a viable alternative for those of us on the DL to SITTING ON THE COUCH, DOING NOTHING AND GETTING FAT!!!

I ride both wedgies and 'bents and admit that I generally prefer the upright, but due to health issues, if I could only have one bike, it would be a recumbent.
