    No, it's the tour of Lombardy where Boogie said they came to this arrangement. I think it's just an off the cuff story, nostalgia and dutch hyperbole: "...and i'm still waiting for that money! How we laughed! yes, those were the days.. it was so lonely at the top" yaddieya. He goes on to say that camenzind was stronger anyway and that he wouldn't have stood a chance.

    It's not unusual if two riders are away they agree some mutual 'compensation' for whoever doesn't win, but it's a bit strange to play this through the media, especially so much later

    No no no, there's nothing strange about this.. he's not after the money! they [camenzind and B] were both/together reminiscing [for a magazine] about the worlds in 98 in the run up to valkenburg 2012... it's just a funny story for those who were privileged enough to be there..
