Hey guys just getting into road biking after I picked up a bargain of a bike on eBay (Peugeot professionel 1000) it's a lovely bike with a lot of the parts been upgraded, anyway never been much of a cycler but recently been out on it quite a fair bit, does anyone know any good routes round the Corby area? I'm training for a triathlon in 9months time and need some good routes to build distance, mainly quite roads so I can get more confident and comfortable.

    Hi and welcome, some good routes if you head over Mkt Harb way, Foxton,Gumley,Saddinton,Kibworth and back to Harb then Corby..that will prob be good for 50/60 miles and fair bit of hills in there as well.
    Alternatively head out to Rockingham and over round Oakham n Rutland some serious hills out that way :)
