Time for to replace my trusty Pitch frame and get a new AM frame to build up.
So whats the recommendations of the Bikeradar forum population?
Looking for bike that can be ridden uphill and hammerred down. Got 160-170mm Lyric RC2Dh to go on front so must fit with these forks and be dropper post compatible 30.9mm. have hope hoops to go on rear is 135mm so preferably will fit although maybe able to stretch to replace it if I have to.
At the moment on my list is Cove Gspot size large, Orange Alpine 160 althoguh not sure if i should be looking for newer model, Possibly Intense tracer but only if i can source a green one. ( dont ask)
Any ideas? Also any recommendations for stockists of cove in the North east
Cheers Dan

Nukeproof Mega ticks all those boxes. Can be got for under £600"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

My mistake - the Mega takes a 31.6mm seatpost"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

Mega with a seatpost shim (USE and GravityDropper do them in that size)? The Cove would be out too as it has a stupid 30.0mm seat tube.0

I've not tried one but it's on my short list for a new AM build.

Cheers Guys,
as far as I know the cove has now been sorted so it is 30.9mm
so much choice and quite difficult to source in the flesh..0 -

Not sure the lyrik will work with the el guapo, pretty sure it's only rated up to 150mm?
I'll chuck a mention in for a giant reign x which will defo take the lyrik, don't know if it matches up the rest of your spec requirements though but worth a look. you can get some of the older style frames (which i think are supposed to be better) cheaply 2nd hand as well.0 -
Brant (at On One) says a Lyrik is the perfect fork for an El Guapo. A guy I ride with has one with a 170mm Lyrik and he practically flies on it.0
