just noticed a small nick on the top tube of my carbon frame.
have no idea how it's happened. its right on top and whilst its only 0.5cm x about 1mm im totally gutted and now i notice it every time i look at the bike.
anyway, looks like its only the coating (paint underneath still looks fine).

is there anything i can use to repair this?

T-Cut. If that does not improve it after 5 mins then carefully try some metal polish like autosol. Be careful not to go though the lacquer though.

Try JML scratch remover. You see it for sale along with other jml products in Asda and similar or google for it and reviews from real users. It's a tube of cream like polish but it really does work. I was sceptical at first but although it's white it works on any colour car paintwork. I've used it on white, red and metallic copper wiith excellent results.
