Finally got round to putting up pics of my Scott. Bought this last year, had a mix of old Shimano groupsets on it. Stripped it down over the winter, had it powder coated and got custom colour graphics made, then rebuilt with new bits.

It's a nice ride, done around 1500 miles on it now. Will upgrade next summer, want an Italian number...

Nice! I quite like that paintjob!

    Road - Dolan Preffisio
    MTB - On-One Inbred

I have no idea what's going on here.
  • I wanted something a bit different and liked anthracite / dark grey, this is a bit lighter than I expected and wasn't sure at first as it looks a little like primer! However, once the graphics were applied I was really pleased with it.

I like it and you have made a good choice on the colour scheme .

  • What do you think to adding red hoods? Too much?

yes possibly.. coloured hoods only look ok when they contrast with the bar tap.

but if you change the tape to black and the hoods to red, you miss the contrast between the stem and bar tape.

So I think you'd need a red stem, black tape and red hoods to make it look balanced.
