Boardman Team or 29er help

HI all,

I'm pretty new to mountain biking and i am in need of some advice. Talking to friends i have ben pointed towards the Boardman range. Im now stuck between the Boardman Team or Boardman 29er. I will mainly be off roading on rough terrain tracks etc with the occassional commute to work along canal tow paths etc.

Any advice would be welcome thanks
