Bike rack for Ford Fiesta ST500

Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone knows of a bike rack that will fit a 2008 Fiesta ST, I've looked online and not had much luck other than maybe fitting roof bars which I'm not too keen on.
I've also found out that I can't fit a tow bar, as the ST hasn't been tested for towing. If anyone has got the same car and has found a rear hatch type carrier please can you let me know.
Thanks.

A friend uses a Saris Bones rack on a 07 3 door fiesta. Should fit the ST as well.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

No, tried this rack but the spoiler gets in the way of the upper straps. I could do with one that holds the bike higher up.
Has anyone used this

The upper straps on this seem to go at an upward angle so wouldn't interfere with the spoiler, I'm just not sure how secure it is as it is very cheap. Don't you only get what you pay for?

Its a Ford....
You'll most likely scratch the paintwork with a rear carrier anyway (like I did on my 206).
Roof bars or in the boot I'm afraid.
Had my bike in the back of my 206 for the past 2 years, not done any damage.. just needs a good clean out now and then.0 -
I agree. Roof bars or boot are the best options. Boot mounted carriers mark the paintwork no matter how careful you are. I wouldn't be risking that with an ST.
I keep a stash of old bedsheets folded in the boot of my car which I unfold over the folded down seats to protect the upholstery. I have a Focus (no mount points in roof for bars ) and I remove the wheels too. Its a pain in the bits, but it is better than spending £50+ on a rack which is gonna damage the paintwork. If you want to really go for extra safety; take the pedals off too!
Easier & cheaper to get a valeter to clean the interior every now and again than get the paintwork fixed. Plus it's safer to remove the pedals when using boot mounted racks anyway as the pedals often scratch yours or your mate's bike paint or if you're not careful your car's. Swings and roundabouts at the end of the day.0 -

I understand that because I own one too, (mine is an MR200 but not the ST500 limited run) my road bikes go in the back with just the front wheel off, TT bike same little bit tight with TT bars and tailgate just clearing, just move front seat forward a little helps.
Of course lots and lots of padding and sheetsTeam4Luke supports Cardiac Risk in the Young0 -
I think it's roof bars or a bike bag in the boot.'Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible' Marcel Proust.0

Ive got a fiesta and just stick mine in the boot, front wheel removed and seats folded down, no need to remove rear wheel. Put it in so the handle bars are just resting up on the up turned folded seat with the wheel closest to the boot.
I also have some old bed sheets and plastic sheeting for when its wet. If your fairly careful no damage.0
