I think On-One have discontinued the Pompetamine, which is a shame as I was after one.Ecrasez l’infame0

Alfine rear hub is a seriously heavy lump which affects the way the bike handles and feels - do try one before you buy.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

After loads of reasearch I have just bought a Kinesis T2 for my new wet bike. On offer at Probikekit at only £168.0

Absolutely - I love it as a foul weather commuter bike, but my commute is flat and short (6 miles). Other niggle is toe strike on the 'guards - large frame and average-sized feet (44/10). If a winter bike is more a training bike, stick with derailleurs and look for a frame with disk brake mounts and wider tyre clearance - a far better cr@p weather feature.Location: ciderspace0 -
Single speed, or fixed if you can ride one, so much simpler to maintain in the rubbish weather...Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0

If its flat, SS or FG. Plenty of langsters about on a budget.
I'm just setting up a track bike for winter, might be a little harsh to ride but is damn fun BUT the cost of getting all the bits I want has racked up mind, so if you have a bigger budget look out for a second hand Condor tempo or similar.0
